Art Director

(Salary 40-58K, Bonuses, Stock Options Available)

Responsible for establishing and maintaining the creative connection with clients to meet and exceed their expectations on budget and on time. Responsible for concept development, art direction, monitoring budgets and working with development team to supervise the creative aspects of production. Strong organization and communication skills a must. 3-5 years experience producing web & print projects. Preference will be given to applicants who also possess strong content writing & editing skills. Develop, write and produce home page strategy for clients. Work actively on marketing team.

Responsibilities:

  • Creative conceptualization and artistic ability in drawing and story boarding
  • Write developing content for web pages and sales landing pages for clients.
  • Search engine optimization writing and strategy. (will train)
  • Create and maintain company marketing materials.
  • Develop press releases and circulate.
  • Update company website design and content.
  • Follow Quality Control system.
  • Provide a detailed weekly report to your manager.
  • Follow the production model and sign off on every step of the QC process.
  • Refine and improve our production system in developing quality products for our clients.
  • Web site development and design, strategy session participation and coordination, minute taking for production meetings.
  • Participate in client review appointments (when necessary), and up sell our creative services.
  • Develop print / art / web materials and assist marketing the creative services back to our client base.
  • Build & work with outsourcing suppliers as needed to complete projects.
  • Manage communication flow to/from clients.
  • Update act files between main system and admin.
  • Check email, forward to appropriate parties and reply timely with priority to editing requests.
  • Faxing, emailing client edits for production.
  • Set up and maintain manual and digital filing systems for clients in the production database.
  • Updating maintenance files and tracking of your time for all clients
  • Participating in Quarterly Reviews with clients and completing the analysis with Account Manger.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional creative design ability.
  • Able to operate under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent copy writing skills – concise and simple.
  • Preference will be given to applicants who possess strong Internet marketing skills.
  • Business acumen.
  • Ability to understand the clients business to assist developing the web page design strategy.
  • Be courteous, prompt, and timely and have good attention to detail.
  • Excellent MS Office skills.
  • Impeccable customer service skills.
  • Able to work independently on projects and also collaborate as a strong team member
  • Communicate effectively both orally and written, internally and externally.
  • Strong leadership and team building skills.
  • Provide impeccable customer service; be courteous, prompt, and timely.
  • Excellent attention to detail, flexible and adaptable to change
  • Demonstrate innovation and creativity by continually improving our design and internal processes.
  • Excellent photoshop skills. Preference will be given to applicants who have strong html editing skills.
  • Preference wil be given to applicants who possess strong Dreamweaver skills
  • Excellent Flash programming abilities
