Job Description

Responsible for the creation and maintenance of the database, email systems and back end integration. Also responsible for all e-commerce product development and maintenance on our web server network. Intranet & Extranet development. Liason with R & D on new product development, installation & security systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow Quality Control system.
  • Provide a detailed weekly report to your manager.
  • Updating of the company customer databases; Act, email etc.
  • Technical support and network administration for local computer network back up
  • Software updating and systems maintenance of local computer network back up.
  • Backing up of all local computer network data files
  • E-commerce website installed on internal website to allow for demos.
  • Creation of web content, web graphics and multimedia content for client web sites
  • Perform updating and maintenance for client web sites
  • Creation of documentation for client web sites (local copies)
  • Publication of client web site on the internet
  • Setting up of client hosting, email and statistics for client web sites
  • Providing technical support for clients & act as back up support for the Technical Director.
  • Maintaining maintenance files and tracking of your time for all clients to ensure profitability to the company on any extra billing.
  • Upselling clients.
  • Search Engine Optimization.
  • Web site development and design and strategy session participation when required.
  • Improve our production system.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years experience in the Internet or related business. Preference given to applicants with previous ISP employment.
  • Be legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Must have UNIX, html, C&T, php, and a core understanding of web networks and dns and email services.
  • Provide impeccable customer service and be courteous, prompt, and timely
  • Be able to work independently on projects and also collaborate as a strong team member and leader.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Communicate effectively both internally and externally ie. Check email, forward to appropriate parties and reply timely with priority to editing requests or technical support requests. Please cc sales
