Background:
Penfolds Roofing is a privately held roofing company that provides new and re-roofing products and services to various markets throughout British Columbia. The firm has earned a reputation for honesty & quality craftsmanship with a wide range of superior re- roofing shingles and roof shakes, such as the indestructible EcoRoof rubber shakes. Penfolds Roofing has become a primary choice for residential roofing, new construction, commercial roofing and emergency roof repair in BC.
Challenge:
Penfolds' although well known and highly respected in the BC roofing market, was not coming up on page 1 of Google and the major search engines and thus losing considerable market share to his competitors as a result. Penfolds’ met with ThinkProfits in May of 2006 to revamp its website with the goal in mind of dominating his competition organically, at the top of page 1 of Google.
The previous redevelopment's weak SEO structure and poor conversion process required total redevelopment. Thinkprofits launched the new Penfolds website within 60 business days and by December 27, 2006 the President of Penfolds Roofing was beginning to see significant results.
The Strategies and Execution:
During the development process, the ThinkProfits Web development team optimized the site, including specific pages for up to 50 keywords. Specific landing pages were developed to go after segments of keywords such as "roofer vancouver" and "roofer victoria" to mention a few. We also produced a Presidents’ Message video and overhauled the sales conversion process on the website. As well, during the post launch phase, we supported the re-indexing of the new site with professional Pay per Click Management while waiting for the natural rankings to take hold.
Results:
